Latest European Transfer Rumours

Juventus: Players Considered For Pogba Swap

Jake Polden of The Mirror reports that Juventus have three players they are willing to offer to land Paul Pogba. The three players in question are Douglas Costa, Blaise Matuidi and Joao Cancelo, all of whom Manchester United have targeted previously. Whether or not they would consider any of the three in exchange for Pogba remains to be seen.

Pogba has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford all summer, with Real Madrid and former club Juventus the frontrunners for his signature. The World Cup winner admitted earlier this summer that he wanted a ‘new challenge’.

Juventus: Dybala to Be Makeweight For Neymar?

Adam Skinner of Express claims that Paulo Dybala could become part of Juventus’ offer to sign Neymar. There were reports earlier this week that Neymar’s father met with Juventus officials to discuss a move.

Neymar went AWOL from training at Paris Saint-Germain and the club has accepted that he may leave this summer. Many reported that Neymar preferred a return to Barcelona, however, Juventus could pip the Catalan side.

Barcelona are struggling to find the funds to sign their former star, after taking out a loan to land Antoine Griezmann. They are reportedly trying to arrange a swap deal of their own. With PSG previously interested in Paulo Dybala, this could be a deal that suits both parties.

Barcelona Eye Alaba For Left Back

Barcelona, apart from seeking to re-sign former star Neymar, are in the market for a new left-back to rival Jordi Alba. According to Fernando Polo of Mundo Deportivo, David Alaba of Bayern Munich is also on their wish-list.

The Austrian full-back is in the last two years of his contract at the German champions. After the arrival of Lucas Hernandez, it is clear that the Bayern squad is in a phase of rejuvenation. Alaba, approaching his prime, could see this as a big move for him.

The Austrian international, for now, does not want to renew his contract, which means next summer he will be available in a cut-price deal. Bayern may not want to sell now but could see their hand forced in the near future.

Roma In For Higuaín?

Guido D’Ubaldo of Corriere Dello Sport understands that there is an agreement between Roma and Juventus on the loan of Gonzalo Higuaín. The Argentine, though, wants to fight for his place in Turin at this moment in time. Roma will have to wait until Juventus return from pre-season in Singapore for a firmer decision.

Higuaín spent last season on loan at Chelsea and Milan. He is no longer a crucial player at Juventus and could be on the move this summer. With interest from several Premier League clubs as well, he has no shortage of suitors.
