Charlton to Sign Williams?

Crystal Palace midfielder Jonathan Williams looks set to join League One Charlton on loan. He has played just once for the Eagles this season and could welcome the move. The Welsh international was on loan at Sunderland last season but suffered with injuries. These restricted him to just 14 appearances.

Charlton manager Lee Bowyer is hoping to sign at least two new players. One is reportedly Williams, who could sign before the weekend. If he does sign, he could be eligible to play against former club Sunderland this weekend. Charlton lie four points behind the third-placed Black Cats.

Hull Youngster a Wanted Man

Hull City winger Jarrod Bowen is attracting interest from at least two Premier League clubs. Burnley are reportedly interested, as are Tottenham. Bowen has been in fine form this season, scoring 11 goals. However, whoever decides to move for Bowen will have to pay around £20 million, it has been reported.

Hull are insisting that their star winger is not for sale and are under no pressure to sell either. However, everyone has a price. The Tigers are currently in good form and are now seven points from a play-off place. The ‘not for sale’ notice is unlikely to put off the likes of Tottenham should they wish to pursue a deal. It could then come down to whether the player wants to move.

Boro Striker to Depart

Martin Braithwaite looks set to leave Middlesbrough after 18 months on Teesside. The Danish international has scored eight goals in 29 games since his £9 million move from Toulouse. He is now set to join Spanish side Leganes on loan. It was reported that Braithwaite wished to leave last summer; he now seems to be about to get his wish. It is believed that the 27-year-old is currently in Spain discussing the move.

Clubs Chase Celtic Defender

Celtic defender Jack Hendry appears to be in demand. Several League One clubs are interested in signing the player. League leaders Portsmouth are believed to be keen, as are Bradford City. Sunderland were also linked with Hendry; however, they appear to have ruled themselves out of a move.

The 23-year-old has fallen out of favour at Parkhead with boss Brendan Rodgers willing to allow a loan deal. Hendry joined Celtic in January 2018 from Dundee but has failed to convince fans after some poor displays.

Power Deal Becomes Permanent

Max Power’s time at Sunderland has now become permanent. The midfielder joined the Black Cats from Wigan on loan with a few to a permanent deal. The midfielder has now signed until 2021. Power has had an indifferent start to his time on Wearside. His displays have earned praise from management and fans alike; however, he has been sent off three times, with one being rescinded.
