Scudetto Already Within Reach For Juventus

Before the season started, most thought that the Serie A would be the most competitive league. Many believed this because of last season’s battle for the title between Napoli and Juventus and the Turin club won the league by only four points. This thriller caught the eyes of fans worldwide, as most leagues were being dominated by one club. As the 2018/19 season progresses, it seems that Juventus has already killed the entire league.

Juve’s Domination This Season

Juventus’ domination of the league has led to the downfall of other clubs. The Turin side have been growing rapidly, crushing teams like AC Milan and Inter who used to be on top of Italy and Europe. The team is still unbeaten in the league, continuing this streak with a 1-0 win over Inter on Friday. In the last few seasons, questions were circulating over when Juve’s dominance will come to an end. The answer? Not anytime soon.

Currently, the Bianconeri are on top of the table, eight points ahead of Napoli. The main reason for this dominance is the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese forward is already in great form this season, the best player at the club. The Juventus management did a great job to secure his signing ahead of all other top clubs. The former Manchester United man has scored ten goals and assisted six in 15 league appearances. Italian teams have great defences, it isn’t easy to break through them, but Ronaldo is proving that he can do it.

With the most valuable squad in the league, Juve will kill the league very early this season. The rest of the teams in the league fight each other, while Juventus usually beat every club that stands in their way. The Champions League title is now a priority as the league is a basic objective for the club.

Juve’s dominance isn’t due to poor teams in the league. In fact, Italian teams are one of the best in the world. The reason is that the 34-time Serie A winners have a winning mentality that no other club in the league has. Of course, the squad has great quality, but they look down on the rest of the clubs in the league while they look up to Juventus. There is no team that are not afraid of this club. Roma, Napoli, Lazio, Milan and Inter are looking to raise the bar and get back on top. The dominance of Juventus is set to continue for a few more years, though some potential is seen in the rest of the clubs to challenge for the title.
