FTN: Latest Transfer News Around Ever Banega, Martial, Mahrez and Aaron Mooy

Ever Banega to Reunite With Emery?

New Arsenal manager Unai Emery is keen to reunite with Sevilla midfielder Ever Banega. The 29-year-old Argentinian would be a significant upgrade on the departing Jack Wilshere. Whilst the Spanish side insist the playmaker is not for sale, however, it is believed that he has a release clause in his contract.

With Sevilla missing out on Champions League qualification, Banega could follow Emery to a new club for the second time. The midfielder previously left Valencia for Sevilla to join Emery.

Mahrez’s Move on Hold?

Riyad Mahrez’s move to Manchester City is on hold, due to a disagreement between the player and the Foxes over a loyalty bonus. The winger is understood to be holding up the deal by demanding a portion of the transfer fee, something Leicester are not willing to agree to.

While Mahrez remains Guardiola’s top target but he could find himself missing out should Man City lose patience over the deal.

Anthony Martial to Turin?

Manchester United forward Anthony Martial is believed to be in talks with Juventus over personal terms. Although the clubs are yet to agree a fee, Martial has made his desire to leave clear to Jose Mourinho.

Martial did not make the French World Cup squad due to a lack of playing time this past season. He is apparently keen on a move for more first-team football.

Mooy on the Move?

Huddersfield midfielder Aaron Mooy’s impressive World Cup performances have caught the eye of several Premier League sides. This, combined with his role in Huddersfield’s impressive debut Premier League season, has him on Everton and Southampton’s radar.

Huddersfield have no reason to sell but may find their hand forced if the midfielder submits a transfer request.
