What ended up airing is the episode taped in Hershey, Pennsylvania, this past Monday Night. Now, we provide all of you with the actual WWE SmackDown spoilers for December 26, 2025, for the night after Christmas.
Let’s run it down.
WWE SmackDown Spoilers (12/26/25):
- Last week on SmackDown, The Miz called out Joe Hendry and demanded a match from Nick Aldis. While he didn’t call his name, he appeared on this week’s show. The night kicked off with a Joe Hendry concert, with the former TNA World Champion dedicating a special rendition of “Jingle Bells,” wherein Hendy would sing the line, “Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Miz has tiny b*lls.”
- In the coldest month of the year, this rivalry reached a fever pitch as Joe Hendy took on The Miz in a Miracle on 34th Street Fight. Chaos would ensue, as people like Alpha Academy, Otis dressed as Santa Claus, and Akira Tozawa as his trusty elf, would get involved. Even a mystery rabbit was there, who turned out to be R-Truth. In the end, Joe Hendry would be victorious in his SmackDown debut against The Miz, pinning the multiple-time Grand Slam Champion.
- In a backstage promo with Byron Saxton, WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill would call out Michin. Later, Michin and B-FAB would respond.
- “The Queen” Charlotte Flair would secure a pinfall victory over Lash Legend, exacting revenge for the past few weeks.
- In a shocking turn of events, Ilja Dragunov announced that he was officially retiring the “U.S. Open Challenge,” but is more than willing to give Carmelo Hayes a much-deserved rematch for the United States Championship. Later in the night, Carmelo Hayes would do the unthinkable and become the #AndNEW U.S. Champion.
- In a tag team match, Giulia and Kiana James took on Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre. Giulia would pick up the victory for her team, pinning the Women’s United States Champion.
- Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss would kick up a fuss with multiple teams gunning for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. This tense encounter led to a Multi-Team Tag Team Match on the very first SmackDown of 2026, with the winner becoming the number one contender.
- A video package was shown of NXT Champion Oba Femi. Plus, matches were announced for the January 2nd, 2026 edition of SmackDown, which includes Damian Priest vs. Aleister Black and Jade Cargill taking on Michin.
- Stipulation for the Undisputed WWE Championship Match between Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre was set to end the show.
That’s all for WWE SmackDown spoilers for December 26, 2025.
