TNA iMPACT After The Bell (7/24/25) - From Slammiversary To Bound For Glory

TNA iMPACT After The Bell (7/24/25) – From Slammiversary To Bound For Glory

The Road to TNA Slammiversary just ended, and the Path to TNA Bound For Glory has started. This long path until the October 12 PLE will have two PLE stops: Emergence on August 15, and Victory Road on September 26. So, many things could happen till Bound For Glory, on TNA iMPACT and NXT every week, and on PLEs.

The preview was clear: this episode is the Fallout from Slammiversary. We’ll hear about what happened last Sunday, and also what’s next. Let’s Nygma-dive into the episode, as there are some things to say about it (as always).

The Nygma’s View

Talkings

TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella was in the ring when the System came, wanting to fight for their home of TNA Wrestling against the invading force of NXT. Moose said that Leon Slater earned the X-Division Title when he defeated him at Slammiversary. Moose then turned his attention towards Trick Williams when the TNA World Champion and First Class arrived.

Williams didn’t want anything to do with Moose, but The System wanted to claim that they were the most dominant faction in TNA. Mustafa Ali led Order 4 to the ring, who claimed they are the greatest faction of all time. A brawl broke out between The System and Order 4, until security intervened to break it up.

Nygma says: Moose is always right.

Indi Hartwell said that, with Tessa Blanchard behind her, she can focus on becoming the Knockouts World Champion. Dani Luna thanked Hartwell for having her back last week.

Victoria Crawford interrupted and offered them both her mentorship, with a match set for next week. Nygma says: Crawford’s mentorship is very Freudian: me, myself, and I first.

Leon Slater said that he will bring the X-Division back to its roots, and it will be all about speed. The Hardys joined Slater and spoke on the special energy in TNA Wrestling. TNA International Champion Steve Maclin was out next and was not happy with TNA’s World Championships being held by outsiders.

Maclin praised Slater and The Hardys, and said it is on all of them to hold the line for TNA Wrestling. Nygma says: Maclin is right, too.

TNA Knockouts World Champion NXT’s Jacy Jayne admitted that the talent in the Knockouts division is extremely talented, but they are flawed. Jayne made a bold statement and vowed that when people look at the Knockouts’ World Title, they are going to think of her. Nygma says: When I look at the title, I see it wrapped around the waist of a TNA Knockout.

New Contenders

TNA DOA Santino Marella addressed that both the TNA World Championship and the Knockouts World Championship are in the hands of NXT Superstars. Marella will look to turn the tide when he challenges Ethan Page for the NXT North American Championship this Tuesday on WWE NXT.

Masha Slamovich came out; she wanted her contractually-obligated rematch for the Knockouts World Title against Jacy Jayne next week. Marella made it official. Nygma says: Make some Milan Miracles, Santino.

The Hardys & Leon Slater segment led to new contenders waving their hands. First, the Nemeths requested a rematch, yet to be granted. Both Cedric Alexander and Jason Hotch congratulated Leon Slater.
He will face both Alexander and Hotch next week for the X-Division Championship. Nygma says: Slater said the word “speed,” it will be a wacky race for his first title defence.

Wrestling

The IInspiration mystery happened to be Mara Sadè, better known as Jakara Jackson in NXT. It seemed to be a very clever choice as Sadè helped Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay to win the match. The IInspiration put Heather away with The Idolizer to win, but Sadè made her presence felt.

Nygma says: Signing her was then so elegant.

Jake Something and Mance Warner – No DQ. Warner hit a big Superplex into a collection of steel chairs. Something punched him through a steel chair, and later, he hit a back body drop into a pile of thumbtacks.

Something put Warner away with the Black Hole Slam for three. Nygma says: I love the sweet smell of hardcore wrestling at night.

After the Order 4/ System brawl, Matt Cardona offered his assistance to The System. Santino Marella announced that Matt Cardona and Brian Myers will reunite tonight against The Great Hands. Mustafa Ali and Tasha Steelz created a distraction at ringside, allowing The Great Hands to gain control.

The match began to break down as Ali tried to get involved once again. Alisha Edwards neutralized Tasha Steelz. A huge member of Ali’s secret service (“Big” Bill Collier, aka William Trudeau at the Border Brawl event) attacked Cardona from behind, allowing Skyler to score the victory.

Nygma says: Order 4 folds the game with a giant on the team.

Before the match, Mike Santana did not want to give his thoughts on what happened at Slammiversary. He was right to stay focused. Joe Hendry and Mike Santana went one-on-one for the first time ever. Frankie Kazarian tried to join Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt on commentary, but was ejected from ringside.

It was a really good match. Mike Santana was in full Papi mode. Joe Hendry believed he could win and did all he could to, but Santana prevailed.

After the match, Santana and Hendry shook hands in the middle of the ring, which was a pure surprise. Nygma says: Take it as you want, but, for me, Santana is next, and Hendry is already looking somewhere else.

The Nygma’s Last Word(s)

Without the ads, an iMPACT episode lasts 85 to 90 minutes. We had 34 minutes of wrestling, which means we had 51 to 56 minutes of promos.

Like Elvis Presley said, “A little less conversation, a little more action, please.” Then, the action was great, and some things were rightfully said.

The System said they are going to fight for TNA, despite the major company titles being in the hands of NXT talents. Steve Maclin believes in the Hardys and Leon Slater to hold the line with him for TNA Wrestling. It was huge statements from Moose, Eddie Edwards, and Steve Maclin, but not a surprise, as they are 200% TNA.

At the same time, there was something of the beginning of goodbye from Joe Hendry. He lost to Mike Santana. The handshake was fair, like the match.

Joe Hendry is further away from the TNA World Championship than he has ever been. What’s next for him, if not NXT?

Nygma is 400% TNA. I believe in Moose, Eddie Edwards, and Steve Maclin. I think Mike Santana is the next TNA World Champion. Then, Bound For Glory is eleven weeks away.

The path will be long and epic. Till next week, may the Nygma be with you.
