On the June 5, 2026 edition of WWE SmackDown live in the Unipol Arena in Italy, another huge star advanced to the next round of the King of the Ring 2026 tournament. The tourney, thus far, has been tightly contested, with a guaranteed shot at the Undisputed WWE and World Heavyweight Titles on the line at WWE’s grand stage of SummerSlam 2026.
Friday night, we saw four men square off as they looked to join Oba Femi in the semifinals of the King of the Ring.
On to the King of the Ring 2026 Semifinals
Four of the best and brightest WWE has to offer on both WWE Friday Night SmackDown and Monday Night Raw went at it hard tonight, as Dominik Mysterio, Bron Breakker, Trick Williams, and Damian Priest vied for a spot in the semifinals of this tournament on the June 5, 2026, edition of WWE SmackDown in Italy.

Bron Breakker assumed control immediately, bulldozing through everyone to begin the match in his favor. While Breakker would not assume control for long, no one really did, as the match featured everyone getting their offense in. Trick Williams would catch fire late in the game, taking everyone out, and making a huge statement with a Book End on Breakker.

Mysterio would try to blindside them, only to get beaten by Damian Priest, who’s teetering on the top rope. Fortunately for him, that’s all he got, as Priest would take the brunt of the damage once Breakker and Trick teamed up for a momentary second, delivering a Top Rope Double Superplex on the “Archer of Infamy.” Being the vulture that he is, Dom would try to pick up the pieces and pin everyone involved in that car crash of a scene.
All four were once again up and trying to jockey for position. Priest would hit the Razor’s Edge and pin Dom, but WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan would cause a distraction. Breakker would then run through the field, delivering a Boss Man Slam to Trick, a Military Press to Priest.
Dom would kick Breakker to the 2nd rope, going for 619, only for Priest to stop the attempt. A groggy Trick Williams on the outside didn’t know what hit him, as Breakker would inadvertently take him and himself out of the equation, hitting a Clothesline from the Apron through the table on Trick.
In the ring, behind the referee’s back, JD McDonagh would try to interfere, only for Priest to catch him. The referee would eject JD, allowing Morgan to hit a low blow on Priest and allowing Dominik Mysterio to advance to the semis. We would say congratulations, but Mysterio has another thing coming in the next round of King of the Ring as he faces off against the “Ruler” Oba Femi.
