WWE SmackDown’s first hour in Italy in the Unipol Arena was full of chaos, and it didn’t get any less hot as the show went along. We saw Sami Zayn complaining to SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis about his situation with Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Gunther earlier in the night. Still, Aldis wanted to put a pin on this as Chad Gable arrived on Friday Night SmackDown.
Chad Gable on WWE SmackDown
Chad Gable and Sami Zayn have had legendary battles over the years, and now that the former multiple-time WWE Tag Team Champion is on WWE SmackDown, they could write another chapter in their illustrious history. Over the last year, our suspicions were confirmed as Chad Gable was unveiled as the Original El Grande Americano, as he had a legendary battle with the New El Grande Americano in a Máscara contra Máscara, or Mask vs. Mask Match at AAA’s Noche de Los Grandes just a week ago.
Chad Gable is possibly one of the most underrated and underappreciated members of the WWE roster. Being a multiple-time former WWE Tag Team Champion, as well as leading successful factions such as the Alpha Academy and American Made, Gable has shown time and again that he’s not playing and he’s for real.
The former WWE Speed Champion walked into Nick Aldis’ office looking like a different man after his legendary battle with the only El Grande Americano, and it seems like Chad Gable is now ready to put in the work on Friday Night SmackDown.

As for Sami Zayn, he has enough problems to work with right now. WWE Universe, we wanna remind you that Chad Gable came inches away from becoming Intercontinental Champion at the expense of Sami Zayn, and if Gable wants to make a statement, going after Zayn and shutting up the “Underdog of the Underground” could be the way to make a statement.
Welcome to WWE SmackDown, Chad Gable!
