If you carefully read my preview of TNA iMPACT!, you now know if Nygma’s crystal ball was right or wrong. It’s now time to analyze what happened and what it means for the coming weeks, especially with all the crossover matches set to happen at NXT Roadblock on March 11 and TNA Sacrifice on March 14. The card was so stacked that we could expect many turmoils and brawls.
From The System
Elijah in the iMPACT Zone for the first time
Elijah made his TNA singles debut against Brian Myers of The System. Obviously, The System got involved, with Alisha and Eddie Edwards at ringside.
After the match, The System jumped Elijah from behind, but TNA World Champion Joe Hendry chased them off with a guitar. I told you a few weeks ago, some guitars will die on the back or the neck of someone one day or another.
And, no, I still don’t believe in Joe Hendry…

Moose and Oba Femi – Face to Face
Moose didn’t come alone, as The System was by his side when Oba Femi was alone. On Tuesday, they will face at NXT Roadblock in an epic match for the NXT Championship. Moose called himself the Face of the Franchise and vowed to soon become the face of Femi’s franchise.
Of course, it ended up in a massive brawl with Moose standing tall over Oba Femi with both the X-Division and NXT Titles. Since WWE and TNA started to work together, no NXT title has been won by a TNA wrestler, and vice versa.
For the first time, I tend to think it’s possible. Moose can do it; will he do it? That’s another question that will find its answer on Tuesday night (1 AM GMT+1).

Hell in a Cage
Okay, TNA World Tag Team Champions The Hardys (Matt & Jeff) defeated The Colóns by disqualification. Then, what did you expect? For sure, The System attacked the Hardys.
TNA World Champion Joe Hendry, Elijah and Leon Slater came to save them. Director of Authority Santino Marella had to make this blockbuster announcement: The 10-Man Tag Team match at Sacrifice will now be contested in a steel cage – the first Cage match in TNA since 2019. I love Santino Marella.

And What is Not
Rosemary Found a New Victim
I was trying to understand what was underlying the Savannah Evans/Xia Brookside match. It was a very good match, Evans was way too strong for Brookside. No interferences, no after-match brawl, but a Demon Assassin in the rafters watching carefully.
Who is she targeting? Brookside seems a more obvious choice than Evans. We’ll see in the coming weeks who will be misted.

Mustafa Ali Playing Pee Games with Santana
Not only did Mike Santana defeat John Skyler, but he also laid out Jason Hotch after the match. That seemed a bit strange, so Mustafa Ali informed Santana that he must take a drug test, as sanctioned by the powers that be.
The “pee in the box” spot was just ridiculous. And because Santana refused to “go down,” to quote Matthew Rewholdt, we could expect an upcoming spectacular urinal test spot very soon.
It happened earlier than expected as Mike Santana later confronted Director of Authority Santino Marella about having to take a drug test. Marella admitted that it’s ridiculous but said that Ali went above his head to the Anthem head office.
Meanwhile, Tasha Steelz was seen berating one of Ali’s lackeys about a coffee, and that gave Santana an idea. A brilliant idea… as Ali drank the coffee…

Masha Slamovich has 2 problems
TNA Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich addressed her upcoming defense against NXT’s Cora Jade at Sacrifice. Not only did Cora Jade interrupt her but Tessa Blanchard attacked Masha.
Léi Yǐng Lee made the save. If Masha retains at Sacrifice, and I’m sure she will, expect Tessa Blanchard to be the next in line.

The Best of The Rest
- AJ Francis said the words “Steve Maclin,” and Steve Maclin appeared.
- Maclin lost against AJ Francis later that night as he refused The Northern Armory’s help.
- Frankie Kazarian also stuck his nose into Maclin’s business.
- Ash and Heather by Elegance are Spitfire’s Personal Concierges. Very extreme makeover. The Personal Concierge rescued Ash and Heather by Elegance later.
- NXT Tag Team Champion Fraxiom had a message for The Hardys before their TNA World Tag Team Titles match next Tuesday at WWE Roadblock.

After iMPACT! went off the air, Sami Callihan and Mance Warner brawled in the parking lot ahead of their Street Fight at Sacrifice. Santino Marello took a decision: no physicality until Sacrifice. Asking them to keep their calm definitely means the Street Fight will turn into a Monsters Ball…

Stacked card, stacked review. A few days before NXT Roadblock and a week before TNA Sacrifice, it had to be stacked. The 2-company partnership has raised the bar, mostly for TNA. Santino Marella is really becoming the new TNA National Treasure. And kudos to Santana, I’m a huge fan of pee jokes…
The Nutcracking spirit that has been my signature for many years now makes me say to you, don’t fall in the apples too fast (French way to say not to faint), that’s just a Nygma point of view…
