Full AEW Rampage Match Card (1/14/21) – Andrew Everett AEW Debut

  • Shawn Spears vs. Andrew Everett
  • Trios Match: Kris Statlander, Red Velvet & “Legit” Leyla Hirsch vs. Nyla Rose, Penelope Ford & The Bunny
  • Trent Beretta vs. Adam Cole
  • AEW World Tag Team Championship Match: Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus vs. Dark Order’s John Silver & Alex Reynolds

First Up

The new AEW World Tag Team Champions Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus defend their titles for the first time against John Silver and Alex Reynolds of The Dark Order. On the debut episode of AEW Dynamite on TBS, the young duo of the Jurassic Express finally beat The Lucha Brothers, after one stellar matchup to claim their first taste of gold in AEW.

However, the celebration was short-lived. All of AEW’s top tag teams would surround the new champions, sending a message that the hunter has now become the hunted. Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus do not seem rattled by all this newfound attention. Having the target on your back is just part of being at the top. Reynolds and Silver have a tremendous opportunity to overthrow the champions just over a week after their triumphant win.

Two of AEW’s best tag teams collide for the gold, who will come out on top? Will Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus continue to prove that they deserve every bit of what they have? Or will the Silver and Reynolds bring back gold to The Dark Order?

Andrew Everett AEW Debut

Shawn Spears is looking for a little tune-up ahead of his match against CM Punk on Dynamite, as he takes on the debuting Andrew Everett. Shawn’s “accountabilibuddy” Wardlow was unable to get the job done against Punk on this past edition of Dynamite.

“Mr. Mayhem” looked absolutely dominant against Punk for the majority of the match, hitting Punk with the powerbomb an absurd number of times. Unfortunately, under MJF’s orders, Wardlow got trigger-happy and it ended up costing him the match.

However, Shawn Spears needs to focus on his opponent for this Friday night Rampage. Andrew Everett is a former World Tag Team Champion in both IMPACT Wrestling and Pro Wrestling Guerilla, he is also currently vying for the title in Deadlock Pro Wrestling so he’s got the skills to succeed alone. The skills Everett possesses are no joke and Shawn Spears should take notice. It’s The Chairman battling the high-flying Andrew Everett! It all goes down this Friday on TNT!
