As if Matt Cardona winning his Internet Championship back and Thunder Rosa making her in-ring debut weren’t enough, the fans in attendance at GCW Fight Club were treated to another surprise. Moments before, AJ Gray and GCW Tag Team Champions Mance Warner and Matthew Justice of Second Gear Crew defeated Akira, G-Raver, and Alex Colon in 6-man tag team action. Following the match, Warner and Justice remained in the ring. Warner made the claim that they have defeated every team imaginable and that there were no other duos to take them on. This prompted the surprise appearance of The Briscoes, Jay and Mark Briscoe, as they confronted Second Crew at GCW Fight Club.

The Briscoes Appear at GCW Fight Club
Jay Briscoe took the mic and he made his intentions clear and in as few words as possible. Simply put, The Briscoes wanted tag team gold and were setting their sights on the GCW tag team titles. Not a duo to turn down a challenge, no matter how dangerous or violent it may become, Warner and Justice seemed more than eager to fight. It’s unknown when this match will take place. However, on commentary, it was teased that a GCW Tag Team Championship match could take place tomorrow night at The Aftermath. Stay tuned for further developments on this story.
The Briscoes are no strangers to tag team success, as long-time wrestling fans will know. This is especially true in Ring of Honor, as the team held the ROH World Tag Team Championship on 11 occasions, the most of any team in the titles’ history. They’ve also held tag team gold in Combat Zone Wrestling and New Japan Pro-Wrestling, among other organizations. Will they be able to add the GCW Tag Team Championship to their collective resume?
