WWE NXT Review (6/16/26) – Evil on the Way

The Accidental KO

Wren Sinclair hoped Lola Vice and Kendal Grey would be on the same page tonight. NXT Women’s Champion Lola Vice proved why she is the Superstar to beat in NXT as she led her team to a big victory against the team of NXT Women’s North American Champion Zaria and Kelani Jordan. Zaria showed out like the powerhouse she is, but Kendal Grey caught her in an incredible armbar after countering the F-5 attempt.

The NXT Women’s Champion was in a bad spot, but Tatum Paxley appeared out of nowhere, which confused Zaria. That distraction allowed Vice to knock Zaria out cold with her infamous Spinning Backfist. Sadly, Kendal Grey accidentally KOed Lola Vice after their tag team victory.

NXT Review – Meanwhile, backstage

  • Keanu Carver will face EK Prosper next week. Carver wanted more.
  • Tristan Angels argued with Lizzy Rain and Mason Rook.
  • Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno chatted with Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux about the NXT Tag Team division. They were disturbed by the Culling walking in the back.
  • Tate Wilder video package.
  • Saquon Shugars is not done yet.

NXT Review – Nygma Says

What a clumsy road to NXT Great American Bash… I don’t have a lot to say about this episode. That went everywhere and nowhere at the same time. Jaida Parker can be unhappy, but she did the job against Nattie. Tatum Paxley was said to go to the main roster, but she reappeared in NXT a week after her title loss.

As of writing, three Championships will be defended at NXT Great American Bash. And the PLE is 11 days away. Well, this new era of NXT is as exciting as it can be surprising. I’ll see you next week as I keep on exploring the NXT world through the NXTNA “cold war.” Till then, may the Nygma be with you.
