DarkState annihilated
Before the match, DarkState was definitely on the same page, on paper. Cutler James and Osiris Griffin’s eyes couldn’t lie. On the Vanity Project’s side, Myka Lockwood was ready to take care of Griffin and James.
The Vanity Project is still the NXT Tag Team Champion, but the headline is DarkState kicking Saquon Shugars out of the group in stunning fashion. Dion Lennox and Shugars were on the same page to begin the match, but cracks began to show as the match went on.
All of the momentum belonged to DarkState, but Shugars tagged himself in and infuriated Lennox, leading to Baylor rolling him up for the win. After the match, Lennox, Griffin, and James kicked Shugars out of the group in heartbreaking fashion.
NXT Review – Meanwhile, backstage
- Layla Diggs didn’t want to mess with Miss Parker.
- Lola Vice, Tatum Paxley, Myles Borne, and Tony D’Angelo have a problem with the new slew of challengers. Naraku had a special message for Tony D’Angelo.
- The Culling will be busy next week. Niko Vance and Shawn Spears will face OTM, while Izzi Dame will try to become the NXT Women’s Champion.
- Wren Sinclair will be cleared to face Kelani Jordan next week.
