The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong, & Kyle O’Reilly)
After Roderick Strong joined The Conglomeration on March 22’s AEW Slam Dunk Sunday, Orange Cassidy has had a solid companion in his affairs. They’d be rejoined, nevertheless, with a returning Kyle O’Reilly on April 12, at AEW Dynasty. The three would immediately win the AEW World Trios Championship from The Dogs.
Their winning ways would continue, as they trounced Lethal Twist, comprised of Jay Lethal, Lee Johnson, and Blake Christian. Andrade El Idolo, Hechicero, and Lance Archer challenged next in a losing effort in Portland, Oregon. While most of the team is either inactive due to injury or is embroiled in other affairs, Cassidy’s Paragon companions have proved worthy champions.
Thekla
The AEW Women’s World Champion lost twice at the start of April. Her Triangle of Madness stable fell to Mina Shirakawa and the Brawling Birds, as did her temporary alliance with Marina Shafir against the same Birds. However, that did not deter her, for she was strong in singles competition.
Come AEW Dynasty, the Toxic Spider caught Jamie Hayter in her web. There, the Bird became entangled and ultimately fell to the champion. Hayter’s fellow Bird, Alex Windsor, fell the same fate at AEW Spring Breakthru Night 2. Thekla teamed up with stablemate Skye Blue a week later to send Windsor and CMLL’s Persephone packing.
If anyone continues to doubt the Austrian champ, they’re sorely mistaken at this rate. Outsider outlets in the mainstream, like TMZ Sports, have also taken notice of the Toxic Spider’s greatness, taking the time to speak with Thekla on their YouTube channel.
