NXT Champion Tony D'Angelo

WWE NXT Review (4/28/26) – Opportunity Time

Nygma Says

What an episode, again! NXT lost eight wrestlers, called up to the main roster. Now, Evolve loses five talents, called up to NXT (Will Kroos comes directly from Pro Wrestling NOAH). Not to mention EVIL’s arrival. Change is good, but some “constants” remain. Kelani Jordan and Myles Borne offered great action. Shiloh Hill is stepping forward episode after episode.

Tony D’Angelo said that the more NXT changes, the more it stays the same. The one constant in NXT is that people come and go. The NXT Champion is right. NXT has always been a “launching pad” for the talents. They come, they learn, sometimes they win Championships, and they go.

Well, this new era of NXT is as exciting as it can be surprising. I’ll see you next week as I keep on exploring the NXT world through the NXTNA “cold war.” Till then, may the Nygma be with you.

She has developed a very special bond with TNA Wrestling over time to the point of becoming an Authority on the company. The French Nygma, as she loves to call herself, has been a wrestling writer and editor for nearly a decade for SteelChair Magazine/Wrestling SC, TWM and Distortion Media. She has interviewed hundreds of wrestlers from WWE, MLW, TNA, NXT, AEW, and many more promotions. The Nygma is now the new “Authority” on TNA Wrestling and NXT for Last Word on Pro Wrestling. The writer/editor also runs @3WWrestling, her own platform.
