NXT Champion Tony D'Angelo

WWE NXT Review (4/28/26) – Opportunity Time

Lola Vice is not afraid of the Culling

Lola Vice showed up and told Izzi Dame that they are two steps ahead of her. She felt sorry for Izzi because she couldn’t do anything on your own. Vice says that she wanted everyone to see what she does to Izzi. Shawn Spears appeared on the tron and said Lola hasn’t thought this out. If she wants to keep the title, she needs to be one step ahead. Niko Vance and Dame showed up behind Vice, but Mr. Iguana came out from under the ring to help Vice take care of Dame and Vance.

A Heavy-Metal Debut

Lizzy Rain made her NXT debut on the April 28, 2026, episode, defeating Nikkita Lyons (WWE)

NXT is officially rocking as Lizzy Rain defeated Nikkita Lyons in her incredible debut match. Lyons got the jump on the rocker, but Rain weathered the storm and nearly knocked Devine Feline out with a swift kick. A Vader Bomb attempt by Lyons didn’t work, and that opening allowed The Maiden of Metal to hit Thunderstruck to win her debut match epically.

Devilish Kelani Jordan

Kelani Jordan wanted Wren Sinclair tonight. It turned sour when the WWE Speed Women’s Champion struggled with a serious knee injury. A shotgun dropkick off the apron led to the initial injury, but Jordan began targeting the knee until Sinclair was in severe pain. She attempted to lock in the Final Wrench, but the knee gave out, which allowed Jordan to hit her One of a King Split-Legged Moonsault to win the match.

Goodbye, Ricky Saints

Shiloh Hill took down former NXT Champion Ricky Saints in the main event. Saints immediately attacked Hill as the bell rang, but he became increasingly frustrated with his peculiar opponent, especially when he found a dummy dressed as Hill under the ring. After a Roshambo on the outside, Saints looked positioned to win the bout, but one slap awakened a darker side in the young Superstar. That rage drove him all the way to hit Whisper to the Beast and win the match.
