His pipe bomb promo on Raw proved why no one can hit a promo better than CM Punk. There is real tension between these two men, and that is going to make their match an iconic addition to WrestleMania’s main event history.
These are the two biggest stars in WWE, and seeing them go one-on-one for the World Heavyweight Championship is worth the pricy admission to WrestleMania. This isn’t going to be a fast-paced, catch-as-catch-can match, with the action being more deliberate.
The hatred they share will drive the action and make the slower pace palatable for everyone. It should also be noted that WWE can go in either direction with Punk retaining or Reigns winning the championship. It’s that type of ambiguity that makes this main event the one to watch.
