NXT Results and Review (4/7/26) – the Fallout from Stand and Deliver

DarkState comes up short

The makeshift team of NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo, Joe Hendry, Ricky Saints, and Ethan Page put their differences aside for long enough to conquer DarkState. After battling each other in a Fatal 4-Way Match at Stand & Deliver, D’Angelo, Hendry, Saints, and Page were far from being on the same page early on, and it nearly doomed the high-octane team.

Despite their selfishness, their individual talent was evident as they systematically outmaneuvered their opponents. Out of nowhere, North American Champion Myles Borne attacked Dion Lennox and the two brawled to the back, leaving DarkState down a man. In the end, it was Page who scored the win for his team as he kicked D’Angelo out of the ring and hit Twisted Grin to pin a helpless Saquon Shugars.

Lexis King and the Speed Championship

Lexis King is one step closer to winning gold as he took down Evolve’s Chazz “Starboy” Hall in a Speed Championship Tournament Match. Starboy showed out in his NXT debut, but the veteran savvy of King saw him boot Hall out of the sky and hit a Coronation DDT for the win.

Glamour and Vanity

Blake Monroe looks to be one step closer to regaining the NXT Women’s North American Championship after pinning Tatum Paxley in a Mixed Tag Team Match. Despite Shiloh Hill backing her up, Paxley found herself all alone as Hill took out NXT Tag Team Champions Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes.

Monroe grabbed a hold of Paxley, but the Women’s North American Champion escaped and hit Jackson Drake, but that proved to be a mistake. The Glamour took advantage and headbutted Paxley, setting her up for a Glamour Shot DDT to give her team the win.
