NXT Results and Review (4/7/26) – the Fallout from Stand and Deliver

The Nygma’s View

Tony D’Angelo becomes the hunted

Tony D’Angelo didn’t have a lot of time to celebrate his NXT Championship win at NXT Stand and Deliver. Joe Hendry, Ethan Page, and Ricky Saints came one after another to ask for a rematch. D’Angelo said it doesn’t matter who, where, or when; it will always be the same, so they all had better stay in line. DarkState arrived, and a huge brawl started. It turned into a massive brawl when many wrestlers got involved. Following this, NXT General Manager Robert Stone made an 8-Man tag match the same night.

Zaria and Sol Ruca, again

Izzi Dame scored a massive victory thanks to an unexpected assist from Zaria. Ruca looked phenomenal early on, using her athleticism to confuse her opponent, punctuated by an X-Factor and a huge Twisting Plancha to the outside. A frustrated Shawn Spears attempted to intervene on behalf of his Culling teammate, which allowed Zaria to show up and brutally Spear Ruca. Dame capitalized on the chaos and rolled Ruca back into the ring, where she hit Dame Over to win the bout.

Powerful Keanu Carver

Keanu Carver picked up the biggest win of his career by dispatching both Jasper Troy and Josh Briggs in a hotly contested Triple Threat Match. The match started with a bang as Briggs attacked both of his opponents right as the bell rang, but the chaotic Carver and the carnage that the Triple Threat Match rules allow had all three Superstars fighting tooth and nail to gain an advantage.

Troy looked poised to win the match, but Carver somehow pounced the monster out of the ring before muscling up Briggs for a match-ending twisting suplex.

The French Nygma, as she loves to call herself, has been a wrestling writer and editor for nearly a decade for SteelChair Magazine/Wrestling SC, TWM and Distortion Media. She has interviewed hundreds of wrestlers from WWE, MLW, TNA, NXT, AEW, and many more promotions. The Nygma is now the new “Authority” on TNA Wrestling and NXT for Last Word on Pro Wrestling. The writer/editor also runs @3WWrestling, her own platform.
