Eddie Edwards and The System

TNA Thursday Night iMPACT Results and Review (2/26/26) – Something Rotten

The System prevailed, again

The Righteous wanted to regain the Hardys’ trust. Gia Miller joined Matthew Rehwoldt on the commentator desk. The System 2.0 vs. The Hardys and the Righteous is not my favorite kind of match, too hard to follow. The Hardys and The Righteous were definitely on the same page, which seems so strange. Then, too many interferences sealed the match’s fate.

Matt Hardy attempted a Twist of Fate, but Edwards countered with a Blue Thunder Bomb. Vincent shoved Matt Hardy out of a Boston Knee Party from Eddie Edwards, allowing Edwards to secure the pinfall onto Vincent. The System was not done, they continued their onslaught on The Righteous and The Hardys. Moose once again came to the rescue, but he was outnumbered. Alisha Edwards rushed out and put herself between her husband and Moose.

The Best of the Rest

  • Mara Sadè had a message for Elayna Black.
  • Alisha Edwards re-signed with TNA Wrestling. She was ready not to sign a new contract, but Moose prevented her from leaving.
  • Harley Hudson and Myla Grace found Jody Threat down backstage and rushed to get help. Santino Marella arrived, but Daria Rae interrupted, trying to get answers. Daria Rae thought Arianna Grace would make an amazing champion, but is done with the Chaos.

About Steph Franchomme

Steph, for Stephanie, is not only eNYGMAtic, charismatic, but also “très chic.” Living in France, her birth country, she broke the language barrier to become a respected writer and interviewer on many wrestling promotions. She has developed a very special bond with TNA Wrestling over time to the point of becoming an Authority on the company. The French Nygma, as she loves to call herself, has been a wrestling writer and editor for nearly a decade for SteelChair Magazine/Wrestling SC, TWM and Distortion Media. She has interviewed hundreds of wrestlers from WWE, MLW, TNA, NXT, AEW, and many more promotions. The Nygma is now the new “Authority” on TNA Wrestling and NXT for Last Word on Pro Wrestling. The writer/editor also runs @3WWrestling, her own platform.
