Seven Man, One Champion
The epic Ladder Match quickly devolved into absolute chaos with dozens of ladders being used as weapons, tools, and even stilts in the case of Shiloh Hill. Six of the Superstars decided to team up and bury the dangerous Keanu Carver under a score of ladders. It didn’t hold him for long as he burst free and continued to wreak havoc.
Ricky Saints and Carver found themselves perched at the top of a ladder. Carver got shoved off, crashing through a ladder below. Saints looked poised to win, but Hendry met him at the summit. In the end, Hendry ripped the title down to win the match. If you want to witness the action and Hendry’s win, the full match is available here.
Meanwhile, backstage…
- Before the main event, Joe Hendry said he came to NXT to be a Champion.
- Ethan Page gave some advice to The Vanity Project.
- Before the show, Blake Monroe attacked Jaida Parker.
Before tonight's show, @BlakeMonroeWWE heinously attacked @Jaida_Parkerwwe 😳

Nygma Says
This episode was not exactly what I was expecting. Where was Tatum Paxley? Why didn’t Fatal Influence or WrenQCC interfere in the TNA title match? And Ethan Page, nowhere to be seen in the main event? Everyone understood Keanu Carver was the man to kill in the Ladder match. Ricky Saints made sure he would not grab the belt.
WWE may say, we all believe in Joe Hendry. Nygma says she’s definitely not. I have never “believed” in him. Don’t expect me to change. This new era of NXT is as exciting as it can be surprising. I’ll see you next week as I keep on exploring the NXT world through the NXTNA “cold war.” Till then, may the Nygma be with you.
