Ric Flair was the winner of the 1992 Royal Rumble Match after a truly spectacular performance in that bout. For more than one hour (Flair is the first wrestler in Royal Rumble history to last more than one hour), Naitch did everything to survive as he stood face-to-face against some of his greatest rivals. We’re not just talking about his rivals in the WWF, but also people like “Texas Tornado” Kerry Von Erich who’d faced Flair for the NWA Title.

While Flair managed to eliminate a few people throughout the match, this was far from a dominant showing from him. It was about avoiding elimination at all cost, with Bobby Heenan doing a tremendous job on commentary. The Brain nearly freaked out on commentary every single time someone tried to eliminate The Nature Boy, and he also added a lot to this epic match.

What Did Ric Flair Do At WrestleMania 8? As mentioned earlier, Flair dropped the WWF Championship to “Macho Man” Randy Savage in a great match at WrestleMania.
