The final man eliminated in the 1992 Royal Rumble Match was Sid Justice. He’s the one Ric Flair tossed out (with Hulk Hogan’s help, of course!) to win the vacant WWF Championship. That’s crazy because one year earlier, Sid – Vicious at the time – and The Nature Boy were both members of The Four Horsemen in WCW. Now, they were the last two competitors in one of WWF’s biggest matches.
It didn’t take long for Sid to make an impact in the World Wrestling Federation, just like it didn’t take long for him to dominate the ’92 Royal Rumble. In less than six minutes of in-ring action, the former WCW star eliminated six competitors (including Golden Era mega stars Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage and Roddy Piper) and came close to winning his first WWF Championship.
What Did Sid Justice Do At WrestleMania 8? It took Sid Justice another four years to capture the WWF Championship, but his first WrestleMania main event came a lot sooner than many fans expected. Despite having debuted in the WWF as a face, Justice turned heel in order to start a program with Hulk Hogan heading into ‘Mania.
