Hulk Hogan’s controversial WWF Title matches against The Undertaker at Survivor Series and This Tuesday In Texas 1991 are the reason why the prestigious championship had been vacated to begin with. Thus, The Hulkster had to be considered one of the favorites to win the 1992 Royal Rumble Match. Shortly after coming out at number 26, Hogan eliminated Undertaker to get the last laugh in their rivalry (that is until they met again over a decade later).
More eliminations would follow shortly afterwards. Just when it looked like Hulk Hogan would once again regain the WWF Championship… he got tossed over the top rope by Sid Justice. The fans in attendance loved it so much that the WWF had to edit the crowd reaction. As much as Vince McMahon and others tried to deny it, Hulkamania’s peak was in the past and it was time for something new.

What Did Hulk Hogan Do At WrestleMania 8? He wrestled Sid Justice in one of the most anticlimactic WrestleMania main events of all time. Many fans wanted to see Hogan vs Ric Flair, but it didn’t happen. Instead, Hogan and Justice had a boring match that ended via DQ when Harvey Wippleman got involved because Papa Shango had missed his cue. The Ultimate Warrior returned after the match was over, but that wasn’t enough to save this terrible main event.
