Chris Jericho was on fire in 2008, and it made all the sense in the world for him to win his first World Heavyweight Championship at Unforgiven. However, Jericho’s title reign was interrupted when he randomly lost to Batista at Cyber Sunday. WWE announced John Cena would get a title shot in the main event of Survivor Series. The show took place in Cena’s hometown of Boston that year, and Cena defeated Jericho for the belt after a solid match. Instead, Jericho feuded with WWE legends heading into WrestleMania 25, before getting drafted to SmackDown.
