TNA iMPACT! After The Bell (5/22/2025) - Before Under Siege

TNA iMPACT! After The Bell (5/22/2025) – Before Under Siege

Tonight is TNA Wrestling’s Under Siege. This week’s TNA iMPACT! episode was all about it.

In fact, Under Siege is a pretty good name for what is currently happening in the iMPACT Zone. The episode was also tuned in on NXT Battleground as, for the first time ever, the TNA World Championship will be defended at a WWE NXT event.

We could expect some matches to be added to the Under Siege card, and that was the case. If you carefully read my preview of TNA iMPACT!, you will soon know if Nygma’s crystal ball was right or wrong.

TNA iMPACT! Results (05/22/25)

The Segments to Under Siege

Gia Miller moderated the Sheriffs’ debate between Director of Authority Santino Marella, with NXT’s Arianna Grace, and NXT’s Robert Stone, with Deputy Director of Authority Victoria Crawford. Stone told Marella that he didn’t deserve to be in a position of power in TNA Wrestling. Marella said that TNA is his family, and they will stick together no matter what.

Tessa Blanchard attacked Arianna Grace, while Stone brought the fight to Marella. Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich joined the fray. Slamovich and Grace joined forces to take out Blanchard.

Well, it was chaos in the iMPACT Zone. Then, Nygma could feel who the strong women are. So, Arianna and Masha, please do Milan Miracles.

Matt Hardy and Leon Slater strategized for their TNA World Tag Team Title match against The Nemeths at Under Siege. Hardy had really nice words for Slater (well-deserved) to the point of calling him Leon Slater-Hardy. Nygma asks herself if Jeff is okay with that.

The Fights to Under Siege

Ash & Heather By Elegance attempted to blindside Spitfire after their match, but failed. Spitfire turned the tide and stood tall with the Knockouts World Tag Team Titles. Good or bad omen for Under Siege?

Eddie Edwards defeated Jake Painter and, for once, he didn’t need Alisha’s help. Cody Deaner was on commentary and didn’t interfere. He just said that he will beat Eddie Edwards, not because he wants to, but because he needs to.

Even if Mike Santana faces AJ Francis tonight, he came up short defeating him on iMPACT as he was teaming up with Sami Callihan and Francis with KC Navarro. Of course, Francis stole the win, but because Navarro will be at ringside tonight, Nygma easily imagines Callihan not being too far.

TNA World Champion Joe Hendry and Elijah defeated Brian Myers and X-Division Champion Moose. Even if Trick Williams was on commentary, Frankie Kazarian was the one who attacked Hendry, but Elijah neutralized him with a guitar shot right on the head (RIP to the guitar). The episode ended with a long Hendry stare-down between Hendry and Williams before their TNA Under Siege and NXT Battleground matches.

The Under Siege New Matches

Mustafa Ali defeated Ace Austin thanks to Order 4, especially Tasha Steelz. He put the maximum pressure on Austin’s injured knee.

Nygma was expecting some interference; it happened. Nygma wanted a 6-Man Match soon, but it will be an 8-Mixed Tag Match tonight.

Mustafa Ali, The Great Hands, and Tasha Steelz will face Ace Austin, The Rascalz, and Indi Hartwell at Under Siege. With Austin injured, Hartwell and the Rascalz are forced to find a suitable replacement. The big question is, who is Rascalz enough?

Nygma might have an idea…

For weeks, Rosemary has tried to make Xia Brookside embrace the darkness. She has failed because of Lei Ying Lee. So, she took her out.

Later, we saw a determined Xia Brookside helping Lei Ying Lee and wanting a match against Rosemary at Under Siege. She will fight for anyone out there who refuses to sell their soul. Nygma says: It’s time for this storyline to come to an end.

The Best of The Rest

  • Welcome to the era of Mance Warner and Steph De Lander.
  • Matt Cardona will face Steve Maclin next week for the TNA International Championship, as Maclin is not cleared yet.
  • The Aztec Warriors defeated the Northern Armory, as Young and Williams got into it with the fans.

The Nygma’s Last Word(s)

This episode was a good go-home show before Under Siege. I’ll be back soon with a special Under Siege After The Bell, a taping report, and some Border Brawl news. Till next week, may the Nygma be with you.
