WWE SmackDown Lineup Tonight (5/23/25):

WWE SmackDown Results Tonight (5/23/25):

  • WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton kicks off WWE SmackDown tonight, fresh off of her successful title defense against Nia Jax. Stratton recalls this time last year when she became Ms. Money in the Bank. How a year makes a total difference, she said, now that she’s WWE Women’s Champion. Out comes Alexa Bliss to inform her that she’s achieved as much, saying that she has had her eyes on Tiffany, and she’s planning on being Ms. Money in the Bank once again. Bliss noted that Stratton “better pray” she doesn’t win because she’ll be the cause of Tiffy’s downfall. Charlotte Flair would enter the fray, talking down on both women and saying when she wins the briefcase, she’ll take the title and her kingdom back. Stratton would get the last word, stating that she owns the WWE women’s division as long as she’s champion.
  • The action starts off with the Triple Threat Women’s Money in the Bank qualifier between Flair, Zelina Vega, and the phenomenon, Giulia. After a tense almost 20-minute match, Giulia would pick up the victory, advancing to the women’s Money in the Bank 2025 match.
  • Both halves of #DIY and the Motor City Machine Guns are in action as Tommaso Ciampa goes one-on-one with Chris Sabin. Sabin was on the verge of taking the win. Unfortunately, Candice LeRae got involved, leading to Ciampa delivering a Knee to Sabin’s face for the win.
  • Michin and B-FAB defeats The Secret HERvice. B-FAB picked up the victory after hitting Alba Fyre with a Modified Neckbreaker that she calls the “Fab-U-Lost” Neckbreaker.
  • An intense tag battle is up next as Jacob Fatu and JC Mateo go to war with LA Knight and Rey Fenix. When Uso was going in for the finish, Solo Sikoa would get involved. With Jimmy distracted, JC Mateo would capitalize, hitting the “Tour of the Islands” Powerslam to Jimmy Uso, picking up the win for his team.
  • R-Truth makes his thoughts known about John Cena. Truth said that he didn’t want to fight Cena. However, if he wanted to save his friend and the industry, he’ll do whatever it takes, including “beating the ever-loving hustle, loyalty, and respect” into John Cena tomorrow at Saturday Night’s Main Event. R-Truth concluded this message by saying that if Cena wins, the WWE Universe riots.
  • Aleister Black is out for his Triple Threat men’s Money in the Bank 2025 ladder match qualifier against LA Knight and Shinsuke Nakamura. LA Knight stole the win from Aleister Black, pinning Shinsuke Nakamura and gaining the second spot in the men’s Money in the Bank 2025 match.
  • For the main event, The Street Profits defends the WWE Tag Team Championship against Fraxiom. Nathan Frazer and Axiom made everyone believe that they could pull it off against The Street Profits. Unfortunately, we won’t know if that’s really true as The Wyatt Sicks returns after a long hiatus to destroy everyone in the ring, ending WWE SmackDown tonight.

That’s all for LIVE WWE SmackDown results for May 23, 2025.
