Since the beginning of the year, the TNA’s week has begun on Tuesday. Thanks to the WWE/TNA partnership, some things related to TNA Wrestling happen on Tuesday, and sometimes, the TNA iMPACT preview changes the way it does!
Last night, TNA World Champion Joe Hendry sealed the deal with Trick Williams as they officially signed the Championship match contract for NXT Battleground. For the first time, the TNA World Championship will be defended on a WWE/NXT PLE. History will be made that night, but history has been made weekly on TV.
Today, we learnt that Leon Slater will team up with Matt Hardy against The Nemeths for the TNA Tag Team Championship at TNA Under Siege on May 23. What Nygma wants, Nygma gets? So, follow the Nygma way to TNA iMPACT!

The Stakes at TNA Wrestling
It’s been 16 years since Nic Nemeth and Jeff Hardy first met in singles competition. Now, they settle the score one-on-one inside the iMPACT! Zone. This comes before The Nemeths defend the TNA World Tag Team Titles against Matt Hardy and Leon Slater at Under Siege.
A lifelong TNA fan and former NXT standout, Indi Hartwell finally gets her shot under the iMPACT! Zone lights when she makes her TNA in-ring debut.
Following another post-match ambush, Tessa Blanchard teams with Deputy Director of Authority Victoria Crawford to take on Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich and her Robert Stone-appointed partner, NXT’s Nikkita Lyons.

Four of TNA’s most explosive competitors, Matt Cardona, Mance Warner, Ace Austin, and Elijah, collide in a free-for-all to score an opportunity at the International Championship. Only one will earn the right to face Steve Maclin for the gold.
Fresh off his victory alongside The Nemeths over Joe Hendry & The Hardys, thanks to Trick Williams’ interference, “The King of TNA” Frankie Kazarian will address Under Siege, where he will team with Trick to battle Hendry and Elijah in tag team action.
After weeks of trying to recruit Xia Brookside to the dark side, Rosemary finally gets her in the squared circle. Last week on iMPACT!, Mustafa Ali snapped on the Aztec Warriors, and the Rascalz made the save. Now, the boys from the Treehouse look to get revenge on Order 4 when they meet The Great Hands in tag team action.

The Nygma’s View
We have a new sheriff in town, and he’s not been making Milan Miracles since his comeback to TNA Wrestling. His name is Stone, NXT’s Robert Stone. Which matches could he influence this week?
As Tessa Blanchard is teaming up with his “protégée,” Victoria Crawford, I am afraid of him making Masha Slamovich snap. And she would be right to slap him, or anything else that would please her. Nygma says: A slap would not be enough to put his head back between his shoulders.
Frankie Kazarian has some things to say. He will team up with Kazarian against TNA World Champion Joe Hendry and Elijah at Under Siege. I suspect he will do some magic on iMPACT! He could say a name and make someone appear. He could also have a Trick up his sleeve and reveal a well-hidden secret. Well, King Kazarian could be very Houdini this week.
As I expected, Jeff Hardy can’t go to Canada, so he faces Nic Nemeth one-on-one, while Broken Matt will try to regain the TNA Tag Team titles in Canada at Under Siege with Leon Slater. As crazy as it sounds, Jeff Hardy and Nic Nemeth haven’t competed against each other for the last 16 years. This match will be a must-see, as long as no one interferes…

Indi Hartwell is making her TNA debut. Captain Nygma Stubbings says: Welcome aboard the TNA Love Boat (people under 40 will probably not understand why I say that). About the Rosemary vs. Xia Brookside match, expect Lei Ying Lee to appear, as Brookside interfered and gave the win to Lee last week when Lee was facing Rosemary.
The Rascalz vs. The Great Hands is another chance for Mustafa Ali to show how Dirty he has become. For sure, Ali and his goons will interfere, and The Rascalz will be robbed again. Nygma says: It will make a great 6-man tag match at Under Siege.
Matt Cardona, Mance Warner, Ace Austin, and Elijah will try to get a TNA International title shot. Steve Maclin has proven that he is a true Champion. On paper, each man deserves the chance. But, depending on when the match will happen, one wrestler has more chances than the others to be the winner. Nygma says: Listen to Radio Nygma.
