The Bloodline faction of WWE is facing challenges in maintaining its momentum during Q1 of 2025 after one of its central figures, Roman Reigns, decided to limit his wrestling performances. This also means that other members, such as Solo Sikoa and The Usos (Jey and Jimmy Uso), gain additional capabilities to lead storylines as Roman Reigns reduces his ring time.
Roman Reigns’ Reduced Schedule
The WWE flagship show Monday Night Raw moved to the Netflix streaming platform in January 2025 for a strategic broadcast change. Throughout this particular season, Roman Reigns received greater television airtime on Raw episodes than SmackDown to boost ratings. Nevertheless, experts predict that Reigns will decrease his commitments after WrestleMania because his exposure was only meant to be short-term before an upcoming hiatus.
Elevating Solo Sikoa
The wrestling world views Solo Sikoa as The Bloodline’s enforcer since he is The Usos’ younger brother. WWE now possesses chances to promote Sikoa inside The Bloodline after Reigns’ departure.
The promotion should present Sikoa as a strong contender in single matches since Reigns will no longer be wrestling.
Jey Uso’s Ascendancy
With his victory in the 2025 Royal Rumble competition, Jey Uso has secured his position among the primary wrestlers. The victory established his personal abilities and positioned him to create upcoming internal disputes within The Bloodline. Ultimately, the potential WrestleMania championship challenge for Uso will lead to brewing tension between him and Sikoa if Sikoa has similar championship dreams.
Potential Internal Conflicts
When Reigns takes a hiatus from The Bloodline, different power forces are likely to emerge against each other. Observations show that Sikoa desires to establish his leadership position through his interactions with WWE superstars since their recent appearances. Due to Jey Uso’s enhanced success, Jimmy Uso may initiate problems by demonstrating his independent value through potentially conflicting actions.
Strategic Alliances and Rivalries in The Bloodline
WWE should develop new relationships or enemy bonds to keep the faction at its peak position. The WWE storyline would benefit from the addition of family members such as Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga to bring new depth to the overall plot. Moreover, external threats against The Bloodline present viable storylines as rival factions attempt to exploit Reigns’ absence.
The reduction of Reigns’ screen time creates difficulties for WWE but simultaneously generates opportunities to build up additional members of The Bloodline. The storyline will stay engaging through Solo Sikoa’s development while Jey Uso chases titles and through conflicts within The Bloodline and with outside factions, which preserves the core importance of The Bloodline in WWE programming.
