GCW I Cant Feel My Face 2023

Game Changer Wrestling returns to the St. Louis, Illinois area this Saturday for GCW I Can’t Feel My Face 2023. This upcoming event is set to emanate from Pop’s, one of the most iconic nightclubs and venues in the state. This won’t be the company’s first time in said venue, as they’ve competed there twice during the past year. This year’s show aims to blow the others out of the water, as it will feature everything from fast-paced tag team action to a GCW World Championship match not to miss. In fact, if you’re unable to catch the action in person, it can be seen live via the FITE+ subscription service. Without any further delay, let’s take a deeper dive into the action to come.

Shigehiro Irie vs Bryan Keith

Shigehiro Irie Battles Bryan Keith

All Japan Pro Wrestling, Big Japan Pro-Wrestling, DDT Pro-Wrestling – if you’re a fan of one or more of these Japanese promotions, you’ve most likely seen Shigehiro Irie in action. A strength-based that boasts surprising agility, Irie has developed a reputation for being one of the most charismatic powerhouses in professional wrestling across the world. Since February, he’s been on something of an excursion, having competed in Europe and North America alike. Furthermore, as of this writing, he’s the reigning Unified World Wrestling Champion in the German-based promotion known as Westside Xtreme Wrestling.

This Saturday, at GCW I Can’t Feel My Face 2023, he takes on “The Bounty Hunter” Bryan Keith in a first-time singles encounter. Much like this upcoming opponent, Keith combines charisma and hard-hitting offense; this may force one or both competitors to switch up their offense to secure a victory. Keep an eye on this encounter, as it may very well steal the show.

Masha Slamovich vs Cole Radrick at GCW I Cant Feel My Face 2023

Masha Slamovich Defends the GCW World Championship

In the feature presentation of GCW I Can’t Feel My Face 2023, the GCW World Champion is in action as Masha Slamovich puts up the strap. To say that her world title victory this past March against Nick Gage was a landmark moment for “Russian Dynamite” would be an understatement. After all, she had been on an upward trajectory in Game Changer Wrestling for months and it was only a matter of time until the GCW World Championship came into focus. Not only did this prove to be the case, but she made the most of her opportunity, defeating the aforementioned deathmatch veteran to secure the gold.

Since then, Slamovich racked up a few title defenses, specifically against Steph De Lander and “Speedball” Mike Bailey prior to that. This Saturday, she takes on another formidable competitor in former GCW Extreme Champion Cole Radrick. “Wildheart” has built a reputation as one of the fiercest deathmatch wrestlers, having developed a fan base in GCW and elsewhere. This level of support allowed him to earn tremendous success across numerous promotions, though the GCW World Championship alluded him. Perhaps this can change come Saturday when he battles the laser-focused Slamovich.

It’s important to note that this isn’t the first time these two have met up in the ring. This past January, at GCW 56 Nights, they faced off with Slamovich picking up the victory. Now, with the GCW World Championship in her possession, it would be easy to assume that she’d come away from this match the victor once more. However, Radrick is as fierce an opponent as any, which makes a win that much more difficult to secure. Tune into GCW I Can’t Feel My Face for what promises to be a world title match not to miss.
