The Battle of Chicago – CM Punk vs. MJF

After months of going back and forth on the mic, CM Punk will finally get his hands on MJF in his hometown of Chicago. MJF made Punk run the gauntlet as he ran through every single member of The Pinnacle. With no one left to hide behind, MJF has decided that it’s time to stop running and it’s time to start fighting. These two have gone at it for a long while now and everybody just wants to see the inevitable collision happen.

To Punk’s credit, he provoked and taunted MJF every step of the way. In Maxwell’s very first match of 2022, CM Punk hit Capt. Shawn Dean with the Go To Sleep that caused a disqualification. With this finish, MJF started the new year with a 0-1 record. Punk poked the bear first. However, MJF wasn’t expected to just stand around and take it. On last week’s Dynamite, MJF unleashed “Mr. Mayhem” Wardlow violently putting Punk through the Powerbomb Symphony.

With this rivalry reaching its tipping point, it’s only fitting that this war happens in Chicago, Illinois in front of the most vocal and rabid fans the sport of professional wrestling has ever seen, There’s nowhere left to run or hide, it’s clobbering time Wednesday night on Dynamite. Will MJF embarrass the hometown hero on his way to a victory? Or will CM Punk finally put Maxwell Jacob Friedman to sleep?

An Eye for An Eye

The House of Black has caused huge devastation to AEW since Malakai Black entered the fray. Now that Brody King is by his side, The Kings of the Black Throne have the All Elite Wrestling world at the palm of their hands. However, there might be a couple of individuals chomping at the bit to exact some much-needed revenge against the two monsters.

Malakai attempted to blind PAC with the black mist. On two different occasions, Black employed this tactic temporarily taking away “The Bastard’s” ability to see. Now that PAC is back and better than ever, he’s out to destroy the man who almost cost him his career. Joining him in this fight is his Death Triangle stablemate Penta El Zero Miedo. These two factions will pull no punches and fans should expect a bloodbath come Wednesday night.

It’s the House of Black versus Death Triangle, and it all goes down on Wednesday night on AEW Dynamite only on TBS!
