DDT TV Show Episode #10 marks the final DDT TV show before Ultimate Party 2020 as there will be a different event next week. However, with the end of these two shows, the intention to polish off the tenth show edition rings true. The following matches could shift the momentum in any direction on the Road to Ultimate Party 2020.
DDT Three-Way Match: Soma Takao vs Antonio Honda vs Danshoku Dieno
These three men have huge matches lined up at Ultimate Party 2020, but at DDT TV Show #10, they will be facing each other. They have vastly different styles, but two of these three men are very comedy-focused. At the same time, the third man out, Soma Takao sat out for a majority of the match when he was set to face Danshoku Dieno, so it will be an amusing match.
Chris Brookes (DDT Universal Champion) and Shota vs HARASHIMA and Yuki Ueno
Shota makes his debut for the DDT TV Show. He’s always been associated with Chris Brookes since the latter’s debut. Most notably, he was recently on the Hiragana MUSCLE shows. Together, they take on the Disaster Box team of HARASHIMA and Yuki Ueno. Last week, Brookes was able to retain his title against Ueno’s partner, but a post-match confrontation caused Ueno to get a shot at Brookes’ title at Ultimate Party 2020. Who will get the first shot in?
ERUPTION! (Saki Akai and Yukio Sakaguchi) vs Disaster Box (Kazuki Hirata and Naomi Yoshimura)
This is another Disaster Box match with more immediate consequences. Next week, both the KO-D Tag Titles and KO-D Six-Man Titles will be on the line. Last week, Naomi Yoshimura failed to win his title match, while Kazuki Hirata scored the winning pinfall over Junretsu. However, this will be the first meeting of Eruption and Disaster Box, in-ring, since the challenge was set. This will be a good preview of things to come.
Elimination 8-man Tag Match: Junretsu (Jun Akiyama, Makoto Oishi, Mizuki Watase, Hideki Okatani) vs ALL OUT (Konosuke Takeshita, Akito, Shunma Katsumata) and DDT Extreme Champion Shinya Aoki
ALL OUT and Junretsu have been at each other’s throats since DDT show last ended all the way in the heat of summer. It looks to be coming to a head with Konosuke Takeshita and Jun Akiyama having a singles match at Ultimate Party 2020. At DDT TV Show #10, the two units will face-off elimination style. ALL OUT has enlisted the help of Extreme Champion Shinya Aoki, a tough competitor in his own right. Junretsu needs to get their head on straight and show they mean business; a win over a team that contains a champion will be one to show that.
Tetsuya Endo and Mad Paulie vs Daisuke Sasaki and Hiroshi Yamato
DAMNATION has split into two different factions. One is the #DAMNHEARTS faction, led by Tetsuya Endo, where they encourage people to conform, kiss ass, and get married. DAMNATION is lead by Daisuke Sasaki, who is coincidentally the only member aside from Hiroshi Yamato. The schism formed by the KO-D Title match became too much to handle and now this match is formed as a result of Hiroshi Yamato trying to save Sasaki from a beatdown. Hiroshi Yamato has been in DDT before but is generally a freelancer working in smaller companies like HEAT UP. He has a losing record this year, but the allegiance with Sasaki could be a wild card.
