Allysin Kay Announced for GCW Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 3

Allysin Kay GCW Josh Barnett's Bloodsport 3

For those that are attending or viewing Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 3, it’s time to throw those pinkies up. Game Changer Wrestling announced that former NWA World Women’s Champion Allysin Kay will be participating in this hard-hitting event. This will mark her second Bloodsport appearance as well. Further information regarding Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 3 will be detailed below.

Allysin Kay began her professional wrestling career in late 2008. She trained at the Blue Collar Wrestling Alliance, based in her home state of Michigan. It was in BCWA where she worked with female and male talent alike. Kay became such a force in the promotion that she even competed for the BCWA National Championship. However, it was her work across the independent scene as a whole that made her one of the most must-see talents in the game.

In 2012, Kay received her first taste of major success. In Women Superstars Uncensored, she teamed with Sassy Stephanie as The Midwest Militia. Together, they won the WSU Tag Team Championship. They held the championship for 707 days, boasting the longest reign of any team in WSU. As the years progressed, Kay found success in other promotions as a singles competitor. As a two-time IMPACT Knockouts Champion and SHINE Champion, Kay’s credentials couldn’t be ignored. Fans may also be familiar with Kay for her stint in the second Mae Young Classic, which took place in the summer of 2018. She faced current WWE Superstar Mia Yim in the first round.

Most recently, Kay has found herself as one of the prominent women’s stars in the National Wrestling Alliance, where she debuted last year. In April of that year, during The Crockett Cup event, she defeated Santana Garrett for the NWA World Women’s Champion. She successfully defended the title against a slew of opponents, including Marti Belle and ODB. This past January, Kay’s NWA World Women’s Championship reign came to an end when she fell to Thunder Rosa at Hard Times.

As stated earlier, Allysin Kay is no stranger to Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport. Last year, in September, she participated in the second-ever Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport, defeating Nicole Savoy via decision. This year, at Bloodsport, the women’s scene continues to become more promising. It’s fair to say that Kay will have no shortage of talent to work with. Standing at five feet, ten inches, and boasting a power-based moveset, Kay is one of the stars to look out for at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 3. Kay’s opponent for this upcoming event has not been determined.

GCW Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 3 will take place at Marion County Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, Indiana, on October 11th, 2020.
