Even though there is no buy clause in the loan, Betis’ chief Ramon Alarcon, has hinted at a possible desire to bring him back to the club after his loan spell expires. He told Radio Sevilla:  “I think so. The other day the CEO of Manchester United called me. We sent them all the moves and details of the player throughout the week so that they can see that we are looking after their asset. There is very good chemistry with Manchester [United] and with the player. It is a possibility that he will continue next season, why not?”

The 24-year-old looks refreshed in his new role for the Spanish side and he could force the team to sign him permanently in the summer if able to deliver more goal contributions consistently until the end of the season. The Brazilian has earned praise from his new teammates for his impressive start to his career at the new club, with his teammate Romain Perraud hailing him as a “very important support” for the club recently.
