Willian has been hailed as an “out-of-this-world” talent in Brazil. He is blessed with pace and impressive trickery, as well as the ability to make things count in the final third. At the age of 17, Messinho has already made 16 appearances for Palmeiras’ senior team and gotten four goal contributions. The right-winger has also scored three goals and provided as many assists for Brazil’s under-17 side, excelling in the FIFA under-17 World Cup last year.
After having already signed some highly-rated young talent from South America like Andrey Santos, Deivid Washington and Kendry Paez, the London heavyweights seem eager to get this deal done quickly and sign a player who can potentially make that right-wing role his own in the long-term.
