Tottenham Hotspur are ready to hand their young “sensation” Mikey Moore a new contract extension to keep him at the club for the foreseeable future, claims Fabrizio Romano.
The teenager had an amazing campaign at the youth level in England last season, and while we are yet to see an official announcement of the new deal, Romano said on Saturday that it would be signed on Sunday, and this has been corroborated by David Ornstein, who suggests that Moore has already committed his future to the club.

Moore Close to Signing New Three-Year Contract
Spurs are currently going through a transitional period, having hired new manager Ange Postecoglou to stabilize their ship. Their 2022/23 campaign was underwhelming to say the least, and saw multiple managerial changes, including the sacking of Antonio Conte.

But it appears that they have convinced their highly-rated youngster to continue his development at the club. Romano states that he had made the decision to prolong his stay with the North London heavyweights a few days ago and the extension should be official soon too.
Romano himself calls the 15-year-old Englishman one of Spurs’ best talents, which is an example of just how highly he is regarded in and around the club. Moore has not only impressed for the Lilywhites but also as part of England’s youth teams in recent years.
Who is Mikey Moore?
The teenager properly broke through for Spurs last season, when he was promoted to play with their U18 team despite his current age. Moore produced amazing numbers in the U18 Premier League, scoring three goals and producing four assists in just 10 appearances for his side.

The 15-year-old mainly operates as a left-winger, but can also play centrally in a midfield position or even as a centre-forward. Moore has scored five goals in seven appearances for England’s U16 side and looks to be one to watch, which is why the North London side pushed to secure his future with them and ensure he remains a part of their youth setup for years to come.
