In fact, the Red Devils have been among many European teams to have sent their scouts to check the development of the Uruguayan midfielder. However, any club who are going to try and sign him have been made aware that Veiga will not be available for a cheap fee.

Moretto also states that there is a release clause of around £35.5 million in the 20-year-old midfielder’s deal after he signed a new contract with Celta last year. The La Liga side have never received that kind of a fee for any player sale in their history and have decided that they will not sell Veiga for anything less than his release clause, it is also added.
