A Potential Breakthrough
One common belief amongst fans is that Todd Boehly has a keen eye toward the future. Callum Hudson-Odoi himself revealed some interesting details in recent interviews. The Englishman believes that the new club owner wants to integrate young players into his squad and is against putting buy options on loans.

This indicates that Boehly has eyes on giving Ampadu a chance to become a first-team player. This wouldn’t be the first chance the young defender has had as he was a member of the squad in 2017/18 and 2018/19 but never became a regular. With more experience under his belt, we may see him make a breakthrough next season after his second stint in Italy comes to an end.
