West Ham United Offers Deal to Jesse Lingard
London Homecoming Written in the Stars for Lingard?
Lingard has fond memories with the Hammers after a prolific loan spell with them in the second half of the 2020/21 season. He made 16 appearances for David Moyes’ side in the campaign, scoring nine goals and registering five assists. More importantly, the English midfielder helped them secure a top-four finish in the Premier League and qualify for the UEFA Europa League last season.
Now the Hammers want to bring him back as they aim to further strengthen their squad for the upcoming campaign. Lingard is yet to fully make up his mind about his future destination after leaving Old Trafford. He has reportedly attracted interest from a number of Serie A clubs, but it’s unsure whether he’ll want to leave England at this stage of his career.

West Ham Making Waves in Transfer Window
After barely missing out on a Europa League finish last season, the Hammers are bent on putting up a better fight with a stronger side next season. Moyes’ side have already sealed the signing of defender Nayef Aguerd from Rennes for around £30 million.
The London side are also hoping to seal a move for goalkeeper Alphonso Areola, who spent last season on loan with them. They are also pushing for the signing of Chelsea striker Armando Broja and are ready to splash around £30 million for his services as well.

Moyes ideally wants the majority of his signings done before the start of pre-season. The addition of a prolific goal-scoring midfielder like Lingard, whom the Hammers can build their attack around, can be a perfect cherry on top for their summer window.
