Wolves will head into their final game of the campaign without Sam Johnstone, who remains sidelined with a shoulder issue, while Leon Chiwome and Enso Gonzalez are both unavailable due to knee injuries. Matt Doherty is also set to miss out after picking up a muscle problem. During his pre-match press conference, Edwards commented on the news that André had signed a new deal:
“It’s very important. We love him. He’s a really important player for us. I think it shows his mentality and how he sees things, which is brilliant. The great thing was I didn’t have to work hard to convince Andre to sign. He is already really committed. He loves the football club, and he wants to help – and that speaks volumes.
