Fans also received the update that Matthijs de Ligt has undergone successful surgery on the back injury that has kept him out for the majority of the season, although he hopes to be back during the early stages of next season.
As for Sesko, Carrick didn’t provide an update but said the squad was in good shape ahead of Sunday’s Manchester United vs Nottingham Forest fixture.
Nottingham Forest Team News
Forest boss, Vitor Pereira, has received a boost this week as talismanic midfielder, Morgan Gibbs-White, returned to training after his horror injury. Speaking on the matter, the manager said, “He started today to work with the team with the mask. Let’s see. It’s strange when he uses it but I spoke with him and he said he’s OK with the mask, no problem.”
Dan Ndoye also returned to training, and Pereira is hopeful Ibrahim Sangare could play some part against United.
It was also confirmed that Murillo and Aina are both out and will play no part at Old Trafford.
