How Arsenal Have Lined Up Recently

In the disappointing draw against Nottingham Forest, Arteta selected David Raya in goal, with Ben White, William Saliba, Gabriel, and Jurrien Timber completing the defence. In midfield, Arteta went with Declan Rice, Martin Zubimendi, and Martin Odegaard. In attack, Gabriel Martinelli and Noni Madueke supported Viktor Gyokeres.

In the pre-match press conference, Arteta was asked if Cristhian Mosquera and Kai Havertz would be in the squad, and the Gunners boss confirmed: “Yes.” He was also asked if there were any other fitness updates: “No, that’s all,” responded the Arsenal manager.
With Arsenal set to face Manchester United on January 25, Arteta was asked if that will make him think about his team selection:
“It’s very particular for every game, I’m afraid, because every game has a different situation, and the players are in different stages as well. We will prepare the game, the line-up and the finishers in the best possible manner to win the game,” said the Gunners boss.
