Tottenham Boss Not Enjoying His Reign

Thomas Frank has admitted that he is currently not enjoying his reign as Spurs boss when asked recently. He said: “So the short answer is no [I’m not enjoying my time].

“When I pull myself out of it and look down, I think what a privilege to be in charge of this fantastic club in a period where it’s a big transition. I think someone told me that we have changed eight leadership guys in the top of the club.

“The transition, there has never been as much in 140 years. There’s a lot of changes, but the potential is huge. That’s part of it. I’m looking forward to looking back at it and thinking, what a big learning experience. Now I’m enjoying it.”

Regis Le Bris on Spurs and Thomas Frank

Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Sunderland’s head coach Regis Le Bris said: “Thomas Frank is a great manager who has worked at a high level for a long period of time,” he said. “They have many good players and are well organised, but probably a bit inconsistent.

“We can’t expect gifts from them, so let’s focus on ourselves. Football is so unpredictable, so the most important thing is for us to play our game.”
