The national team won’t be sweating this one as they have a very capable backup in Manu Kone.

France Recent Tactics & Starters

Les Bleus set up in a 4-2-3-1 with a consistent starting set emerging, with Mike Maignan the guaranteed starter between the sticks. The preferred back four is Jules Kounde, William Saliba, Dayot Upamecano, and Lucas Digne pipping Theo Hernandez in the left back role.

Injuries have forced changes in the pivot where Adrien Rabiot and Tchouameni started the tournament, but Kone has been partnering Rabiot in the absence of the Los Blancos’ man.
