Manchester City Confirmed Lineup vs Crystal Palace in FA Cup Final

This is the Manchester City confirmed lineup for the FA Cup final with Crystal Palace. This is the Cityzens only chance to claim silverware this season after losing out on the league title, crashing out of the Champions League, and crashing out of the league cup. Pep Guardiola will no doubt be focused on winning to get some gold in this term. There may be some league stuff to keep an eye on with the race for Europe being so tight but you’d trust this squad to make up that gap regardless so they can go all out here.

Manchester City Team News

Stefan Ortega starts in goal behind a back line of Manuel Akanji, Ruben Dias, Nico O’Reilly, and Josko Gvardiol. Bernardo Silva, Kevin de Bruyne, Savinhio, Omar Marmoush, and Jeremy Doku make up the midfield five with a mix of explosiveness and technical ability. Erling Haaland leads the line.

Notable Changes

There is one change to the back line with O’Reilly coming in for Rico Lewis. The midfield is also moved around as Foden and McAtee drop out for the better dribblers in Savinho and  Doku. There’s no natural defensive midfielder which could mean this is less of a 4-2-3-1 and more along the lines of the 4-2-2-2 where Marmoush can partner Haaland but that would be an odd fit for Doku.

Crystal Palace Team News

Henderson, Munoz, Richards, Lacroix, Guehi, Mitchell, Wharton, Kamada, Sarr, Eze, Mateta

Stay tuned for the Manchester City confirmed lineup. There will be news as well as a discussion on who started, who misses out, and any tweaks the manager could make to his setup.
