This is a Chelsea Women predicted lineup for the Women’s FA Cup final against Manchester United. The Blues are aiming to complete a domestic treble and would remain undefeated domestically across all competitions this season. All three defeats so far for Sonia Bompastor have come in the Champions League while England has looked like a much easier conquest to conquer.

How Chelsea Women Have Lined Up Recently
Hannah Hampton has been ever-present in goal since the January window ended when Zecira Musovic’s pregnancy was announced. Femke Liefting’s injury prevented any rotation for a likely second-string signing. The defense has featured Millie Bright, Nathalie Bjorn, Niamh Charles, Naomi Girma, Lucy Bronze, Sandy Baltimore, and Ashley Lawrence.

In midfield, Keira Walsh has started as the metronome at the base of midfield with Erin Cuthbert, Wieke Kaptein, Sjoeke Nusken, and Oriane Jean-Francois all playing alongside her. Aggie Beever-Jones, Guro Reiten, Johanna Rytting-Kaneryd, Baltimore, and Mayra Ramirez have set out as attackers.
Chelsea Women Recent Form & Tactics
Bompastor has used a 4-3-3 recently after spending much of the season in a 4-2-3-1. In the final WSL match against Liverpool and one recent league outing after Girma joined the manager has experimented with a back three setup. The 3-5-2 or 3-1-4-2 could be a formation she is hoping to use more often to get the most out of Bright, Bjorn, and their million dollar signing while also letting Bronze/Charles/Lawrence flex as wing-backs.

Goals slightly dried up for the Blues as the campaign went on but their defensive solidity saw them pull out results. Their last three outings have finished 1-0 in their favour. That’s not to say that the team can’t put the ball into the net as they put three past Manchester City and four past Crystal Palace. Defensively, English sides have had issues getting past Hampton with only Barcelona putting them to the task and beating them 8-2 on aggregate.
Chelsea Women Injuries to Consider
The expected absentees are those who have been out for some time. Kadeisha Buchanan, Sam Kerr, Lauren James, Sophie Ingle, Liefting, and Musovic are set to miss out the final match of the campaign.
