How West Ham Have Lined Up Recently
Potter, like his predecessor Julen Lopetegui, has been experimental with his team selections, choosing a 5-3-2 in their last match.
Alphonse Areola retains his place as the Hammers’ first-choice goalkeeper. In his last three matches, he has kept two clean sheets and has only conceded once with that goal coming in the second half against Newcastle United. Łukasz Fabiański has also stepped in this season until he sustained a back injury in a 1-0 away win against Southampton in Ivan Juric’s first game in charge for the Saints, that Areola reclaimed his spot.

Potter has consistently played a back five with two wing-backs, with Oliver Scarles at left-wing back and Aaron Wan-Bissaka at right-wing back. The centre-back trio comprises Max Kilman, whom Lopetegui signed from Wolves in the summer, Aaron Cresswell and Jean-Clair Todibo.
The midfield three in the win against Leicester City and loss to Newcastle was made up of Tomáš Souček, Edson Alvarez and former Southampton captain James Ward-Prowse. Guido Rodriguez is yet to feature for Potter.
Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus have played on the wings but more recently as an upfront partnership with Crysencio Summerville slotting in when his side has suspensions or injuries. Lucas Paqueta and Carlos Soler play as the attacking midfielder’s between the wingers. Niklas Fullkrug started in the FA Cup against Villa but was subbed off due to another injury.
West Ham Recent Form
West Ham’s two-game winning streak ended after they lost 1-0 to Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United in the Magpies’ final league match before the Carabao Cup final where they took on Liverpool at Wembley Stadium. The Magpies were arguably the better side in both halves despite a strong opening 15 minutes for the hosts with a Bruno Guimaraes goal separating both sides.

Before this match, the Hammers beat 19th place Leicester City 2-0 at home thanks to goals from Soucek and a Jannik Vestergaard own goal inside the first half. This match proved to be a comfortable result for the Hammers.
West Ham Injuries To Consider
Potter will have four injuries to consider when choosing his team for March 15. Coufal is a doubt due to ankle and hamstring problems.
Summerville is not expected to return until early April from a hamstring injury with Fullkrug also suffering from the same injury, with a return scheduled for late March. Michail Antonio is not expected to return before the end of the season.
