Leicester Predicted Lineup vs West Ham for February 27

A fourth defeat in a row came for Leicester City last time as Thomas Frank’s Brentford side ran riot at the King Power Stadium. This Thursday, February 27, Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side travel down south to take on Graham Potter’s Hammers. Here is the Leicester predicted lineup to take on Thomas Frank’s Bees.

How Leicester City Have Lined-up Recently

Last time out, the Foxes set up in their familiar 4-2-3-1 system, which saw relatively little change from recent weeks. In between the sticks, Mads Hermansen reprised his role as the Foxes shot-stopper. Wout Faes and Caleb Okoli made up a centre-back partnership, for the third time in a row after impressing recently

Victor Kristiansen started off the left of a back four, whilst Woyo Coulibaly made his first start for the club off the right. However, he only played the first half before being replaced by Jannik Vestergaard. Meanwhile, the physical double pivot of Wilfred Ndidi and Boubakary Soumaré also started consecutive games.

Jordan Ayew continued his run of starts off the left this time, with Bobby Decordova Reid on the opposite flank. Despite starting, both players didn’t have much off an impact and were replaced before the hour mark. In the centre, Bilal El Khannouss continued in the central attacking midfielder role, with Jamie Vardy leading the line in front of him.

Leicester City’s Recent Form and Tactics

After Van Nistelrooy’s side were defeated by late goals against Manchester United and Arsenal, they looked to be on an upward trajectory. However, the Friday night defeat to Brentford served as a reminder of the weaknesses of this squad.
A dominant display from the away side saw them find the net four times and dominate from start to finish. A re-occurring issue this season has been mistakes as teams find it way too easy to break them down and find the net. This issue was ever present again and highlights the struggles all around the pitch.
Under Van Nistelrooy, Leicester are also struggling to find goals. The loss made it six games in the league at the King Power Stadium, where the Foxes didn’t manage to find a goal. A lack of strikes and defensively solidity is worrying, especially as they now sit five points from safety in 19th.

Leicester City Injuries to Consider

As revealed by the Dutchman, there are now just two senior players injured. Justin is said to be back in contention after being replaced against Arsenal just weeks ago.  Ricardo Pereira has also returned to training but will take a while to get back to his best as he has been sidelined since November.
