The Winter transfer window was quiet for Leicester City, despite the club sitting in 18th. Woyo Coulibaly was the one and only arrival, but it seems that their was more action with loan deals. Here is a Leicester City loan roundup, after a action-packed end.

Who Has Been Recalled:
The first of the many players to return to the King Power was Sammy Braybrooke. Leicester’s talented midfielder returned from Dundee Fc after playing just seven times in the league. Amani Richards then followed suit as he left League One side Exeter City. Similarly to Braybrooke, he played just six times, with a goal scored along the way.
Stoke City’s talisman Tom Cannon was the next to be recalled after the striker scored 11 goals in the Championship. However, the Irish international would immediately join promotion hopeful Sheffield United for a fee of around £10M.

Two others would later be recalled despite good spells at their loan club. Brandon Cover first departed from play-off contenders Port Vale in League Two. Goalkeeper Brad Young similarly was recalled as he left boyhood club Hartlepool United on deadline day after playing ten games.
Who Has Departed On Loan:
There was also many players that left to go out on loan. The two most notable figures to depart for the rest of the season were first-team duo Hamza Choudhury and Will Alves. They both came through the academy and will finish their season’s with Championship sides Sheffield United and Cardiff City respectively.
Jamaica- international Brandon Cover has also left for the remainder of the season as he joins League Two side Fleetwood Town. First-team fringe player Tom Wilson Brown has gone out on loan as he joins Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership. The deal was made on deadline day and also saw the centre-back stay at his boyhood club extend to at least 2026.

To round off the Foxes’ loan deals, many players also went to non-league. Ben Grist was the first to join his new club Worksop Town in step seven of English football. Midfield maestro Oliver Ewing would later join the league above Grist as he joins Buxton in the National League North. The last player to discuss is Arijan Raihky, who had made three appearances for the Foxes under Enzo Maresca. He joins Tamworth in the National League, after the club’s tremendous F.A Cup run.

Nobody was brought in on loan as the Foxes hit the maximum limit for loans. Crystal Palace’s Odsonne Edouard and Brighton’s Facundo Buonanotte both remain at the club, despite rumours of them leaving
