Chelsea Confirmed Lineup vs Astana for December 12

Chelsea Confirmed Lineup vs Astana in Conference League Clash

Chelsea Team News

Filip Jorgensen starts in foal with a back four of Axel Disasi, Tosin Adarabioyo, Josh Acheampong, and Renato Veiga. In midfield Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall will be partnered by Samuel Rak-Sayki with Carney Chukwuemeka, Tyrique George, and Pedo Neto supporting Marc Guiu as the striker. It is possible that any one of Dewsbury-Hall, Chukwuemeka, or Rak-Sayki will line out as the main central attacking midfielder but the former Villa man is the likely candidate.

It’s a very young bench with Lucas Bergstrom and Max Merrick as goalkeepers, they’re joined by Kiano Dyer, Harvey Vale, Richard Olise, Shumaira Mheuka, Kaiden Wilson, Harrison Murray-Campbell, and Ato Ampah

Chelsea Lineup: Jorgensen, Veiga, Disasi, Tosin, Acheampong, Dewsbury-Hall, Rak-Sayki, Chukuemeka, George, Neto, Guiu

Notable Changes

It’s a rotated side from Maresca who has only brought one of the regular league starters in Neto, who is suspended for the Brentford clash. Acheampong and Rak-Sayki get chances to impress in positions where there could be openings for European or cup spots after January with Cesare Casadei not being favoured and Reece James’ injury leaving the team with just one senior right-back.

Astana Lineup

Seisen, Bartolec, Kalaica, Kazukolovas, Vorogovskiy, Ebonh, Charles Chinedu, Tomasov, Marochkin, Camara, Amanovic

Stay tuned for the Chelsea confirmed lineup. There will also be discussion on the major changes, possible tactical tweaks, and more as the Blues take on the Kazakhstan Premier League runners-up.
